Hartley Bernstein and Debra Cherney, Lawyer, Married

Debra Lynn Cherney and Hartley Todd Bernstein were married last evening at the Tower Suite in New York. Cantor Wayne Siet and Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum of FederAL District Court, Manhattan, a cousin of the bride, officiated. The bride, who is keeping her name, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cherney of Merrick, L.I. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bernstein of Forest Hills, Queens. Ms. Cherney is the senior counsel to the Securities Industry Automation Corporation, a subsidiary of the New York and American Stock Exchanges. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Hofstra University and has a law degree from New York University. Her father is a certified public accountant with an office in Merrick.
